To schedule your appointment with Edmonton Family Medical Centre, we offer two convenient options: online booking or a call to our reception. We kindly request that you refrain from using email for appointment requests.
Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred appointment time and your choice of doctor.
Priority for Urgent Cases
Please be aware that urgent cases will always be given priority. This may occasionally result in your doctor running behind schedule for your booked appointment time. Our dedicated Reception staff will make every effort to contact you should any unforeseen delays occur or if your doctor is called away for urgent matters.
Extended Consultation Times
For specific healthcare needs that require additional time, we offer extended consultation slots. These may be recommended for:
- Cervical Screenings
- Implanon and Mirena insertion/removal
- Mental health counseling, including Mental Health Care Plans
- Driving License medical examinations
- Insurance or pre-employment medical assessments
- Cases involving multiple or complex medical issues
- New patients with intricate medical requirements
Please note that all procedures must be discussed with your Doctor beforehand to ensure adequate time and resources can be allocated to your appointment.
We apologize for any extended wait times when visiting the Doctor. If you have time constraints or need to be elsewhere at a specific time, please inform our receptionist, and we will make every effort to accommodate your schedule.
If you are unable to attend a scheduled appointment, we kindly request that you notify us in advance. Your previously reserved time can be offered to another patient in need. Repeated non-attendance for booked appointments may result in further booking restrictions. Patients who fail to attend up to three appointments may experience limitations when scheduling future appointments at their preferred times.
